Lion Name: Ramble
Caroline Watson is an artist living and working in Paisley with a studio situated in one of the old mill buildings at Abbey Mill Business centre. After graduating from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD) in Halifax, NS, Canada she moved to Scotland where she eventually made paisley her home. Caroline has exhibited in both Canada and Scotland including Visual Arts Scotland and Paisley Art Institute. The artist works in drawing and mixed media with a central theme round space and our relationship to place and the world around us. Caroline also runs drawing and painting workshops and has always been actively involved in creative and cultural life in Renfrewshire, and for the past 5 years was a partner in the arts organisation WMT (Weaving Musical Threads) bringing exhibitions, performances and events to the region. She is looking forward to Wild in Art and transferring her idea ‘Native Ramble’ onto a 3-Dimensional form – another exciting event in the cultural calendar of Paisley.
